A fellow Oppo hooked me up with an amazing gift. This, friends, is an advent calendar consisting of small bottles of exotic rum from around the world.

First up: Gosling’s Family Reserve. A bit much alcohol at first. It tastes like whiskey for about four seconds. Then it turns into caramel and apple and the aftertaste is fantastic. B-

Oh my goodness. That looks wonderful.

I have an advent calendar of a different kind over on LaLD...but that one looks like a lot of fun.

That’s my kind of advent calendar!

I discovered Goslings’s products about a year ago, first their ginger ales (was looking for a Vernor’s stand-in) and then their rums. The strong alcohol puts some people off, yes, but you’re spot on about the follow through.
